Cassette comp of mostly obscure USHC bands from the American South (with the exception of a few from Michigan and California. I know California is in the southern half of the States but not considered a Southern state, if you catch my drift). Ripped from a recent reissue of the 1989 pressing.

Certified banger from the dirty south, Tulsa Oklahoma to be exact. With almost everything being reissued nowadays, it boggles the mind that no label has yet to re-release this band's back catalog. What IS the deal? Ripped from the original cassette version. Check out their equally great 'Moscow' 7" from '84 if you haven't already.

Screamy hardcore from Oklahoma featuring members of Brother Inferior and Burnpile. And when I say screamy I don't mean screamo, so don't worry.

N.O.T.A. - Moscow EP (1984)

N.O.T.A. are one of those bands I've heard of for years but only knew a few of their songs through compilations. These guys don't seem to be talked about as much as their peers, probably because most of their back catalog has never been reissued. Or because they were from Tulsa and not say, D.C., L.A. or even Austin perhaps? Instead of waiting for some sort of CD discography type thing to come out, I decided to track down a copy of what I think is their best release. Luckily I found one in great shape that didn't set me back too much. All four songs on here are great, but the title song is an underrated classic.
