E.T.A. - tracks from split with Tear It Up LP (2001)

I was going to post the entire record until I noticed the Tear It Up side is available on iTunes. The E.T.A. tracks aren't available anywhere else and this 12" is long out of print, so here you go. On their own, these 9 songs would've made a pretty killer 7". On the long defunct E.T.A. website, they made mention of an upcoming CD release on Deranged Records called 'Let's Rock Tonight' that would've included these songs, plus the 'We Are The Attack' EP and their tracks from the 'Possessed To Skate 2' comp. I'm still waiting for that to come out 13 years later.

1. Fucked For Life
2. Disciple Of The Watch
3. Buried Alive
4. Day By Day
5. I Got Problems
6. I Won't Listen

REGULATIONS - Radio Live EP (2010)

This is the bonus 7" that came with 200 copies of the band's 3rd LP, "To Be Me". The A side was recorded live somewhere in Australia, while the B side was recorded in Toronto on the Equalizing Distort radio show. I was lucky enough to see these guys play twice between 2006-07, once in Vancouver and the other time in Bellingham, WA. Both times Fuck Me Dead opened. Not sure exactly when Regulations called it a day, but it looks like they've all moved on to new bands. I know the singer Otto has a new group called Neu-Ronz that I'm sure fans of his previous bands will dig.
(I missed this show because I had to go to my friend's stag that night instead.)

1. Police Car
2. In 1945
3. Police Siren
4. Hollywood Smile
5. Disease

REGULATIONS - Different Needs EP (2007)

One of my favourite bands of the new millennium. A bit slower than their previous band E.T.A.(see previous post), going for a more west coast circa 1979-81 sound here. Obvious influences are Morris & Chavo-era Black Flag and the Germs, although I do hear a bit of early D.O.A. in there too. I chose this 7" to post as it's the only one of theirs not available digitally or on CD. If you've never heard these guys before, this EP is as a good place to start as any.

E.T.A. - We Are The Attack EP (2002)

Listening to this 7" takes me back to the early 2000's when I discovering this new wave of hardcore bands from around the world like DS-13, Total Fury, Holier Than Thou?, Amdi Petersens Arme, Scholastic Deth, Municipal Waste, etc. Epileptic Terror Attack started out playing classic Swedish HC before taking on a more American style skate punk sound on later releases. This was their last record before 3 out of the 4 band members would go on to form Regulations. Stay tuned next week…
