I don’t think it’s an understatement to say that Finland had a larger percentage of amazing punk and hardcore bands than most countries during the 1980s. And just when I think I've heard all the best shit from there, another sick ass Suomi band comes out of the woodwork. Songs from this collection were taken their self titled 7”, split tape with Kolmas Paiva and various comps.
Originally released in 1986 as a 3 band tape featuring Crudity, Mob 47 and Agoni. Later re-released in 2000 on CD & vinyl with 3 more bands (Discard, Protes Bengt and Rojers). Ripped from the 2018 Peruvian CD reissue.
Cela Nr 3 formed in 1985 in Grudziądz, Poland. They were heavily influenced by the Clash, Buzzcocks, SLF, Sham 69 and the Ramones. They disbanded in 1990 and reformed with a different lineup five years later. In '96 their original vocalist passed away but they soldiered on with yet another lineup and I think they're actually still around in some shape or form. This double CD compiles their early demos and live tracks recored between 1986-1990 and 1995.
Catchy East LA streetpunk that I recently found on the cheap at my local record shop. Their hit single 'Caos' has can also be found on the Babylon and Chikos De La Calle comps.
If you're not familiar with Last In Line, they kinda sound like Out Cold. Seems fitting since they shared members. This 7" was their 4th and final release.
