Debut double 7" by Toronto's most notorious. I think they might've been the first punk band I ever heard of. I remember seeing them on a news report or short documentary when I was like 11 or 12. The narrator was talking about this group who's name they couldn't say out loud so they just quickly flashed their name on the screen. Suffice to say, a rock group having a swear word in their name blew my 6th grade mind! HAHAHA

DIRECT ACTION - Tomorrow Is Too Late 1984 Tape LP (2019)

Now here's a classic case of a band's demo sounding better than the album. I mean don't get me wrong, Trapped In A World is a great album and all but this session is just way more raw sounding.

VA - Tomorrow Is Too Late EP (2018)

Seven-inch sampler of 80's Toronto hardcore that came with the first pressing of the now sold-out book with the same name. I was going to post this a few years back but my copy has a nick over the Sudden Impact track that was irreparable. Luckily Supreme Echo Records released the full Sudden Impact demo as a 7" in 2020 so I just ripped the song from there.

NOMIND - Tales Of Ordinary Madness LP (1988)

I picked this LP up late last year because I recognized them from the 'CANA-CORE' compilation tape I posted back in 2012. Plus I thought the cover art looked cool. Members also played in SONS OF ISHMAEL and DOUGHBOYS.

DIRECT ACTION - Trapped In A World LP (1985)

We all know Top Ten lists are lame and meaningless, BUT if you were to make a list of the best Canadian punk/HC records from the 80's this T-dot classic would have to be on there somewhere. With all the reissues coming out in the last few years (especially since the release of the TOHC book 'Tomorrow Is Too Late'), I'm a little surprised no one's re-released it. Unless it's in the works and just hasn't been announced yet. Although Schizophrenic Records did reissue the band's awesome 1984 demo tape onto vinyl a few months back.
