HARPER SS - S/T EP (2013)

All's I know about Harper SS is that there's at least one member of NO PROBLEM involved. The downside to naming your project after a (then) current Canadian prime minister is that it becomes dated as soon as that PM is no longer in power. Although I thought Trudeau Youth would've been a cool name for a band years after Pierre was gone and before Justin got into politics.

DVA MINUTA MRZNJE - Došao Je Kraj EP (2015)

Got this slab of Serbian streetpunk in the mail yesterday. I first heard them on the Yugoslavian Pandemonium tape I posted back in September. These four tracks were recorded in 1984 and appeared on some cassette comps around that time and then released on vinyl in 1995 with a different cover.

VA - Propaganda Live LP (1984)

Classic comp featuring live recordings from of your favourite Finnish bands, as well as a few who never released any studio material. Ripped from the 2006 reissue.

KANSAN UUTISET - Suomi Orgasmin Partaalla LP (2007)

Early Finnish HC that seemed to be more influenced by USHC than UK82 like many of their countries' contemporaries. This discography includes their 1983 LP, "Beautiful Dreams" and a bonus single-sided 12" featuring demos and comp tracks.

VA - Systeemi Ei Toimi EP (1982)

Finnish 7" comp featuring some early cuts by KAAOS and two bands who didn't release any records of their own.

KAAOS - Ei Enää Kipua Ei Tuskaa LP (2019)

From what I gather, this November '83 recording session was to be Kaaos' debut album but was scrapped for some reason. Some of the tracks were re-recorded for their 1984 LP, "RISTIINNAULITTU KAAOS". Eight songs from this session were released in 1996 on the "VALTIO TUHOAA EI RAKENNA" 7 inch. So here's the whole enchilada for the first time ever.

BORN BAD - Moron Music EP (2007)

Hardcore from the Peg. Winnipeg, that is. They put out a bunch of records but this is the only one I have.

STIGMATISM - Tour Tape (2019)

Montreal/NYC HC featuring members of Extended Hell, Bukkake Boys, Proxy, Omegas, Impotentie, blah blah blah. 3 songs in just over 2 minutes. If you've heard their self-titled 7" from 2018, expect more of the same.

I, BRAINEATER - Artist Poet Thief LP (1985)

Gothy-post punk from Vancouver. I saw this record in a local shop last week for a somewhat decent price, so I figured what the heck. This project was the "brainchild" (pun intended) of local artist Jim Cummins. Andy Graffiti of Private School & Wasted Lives played drums.

INCONTROLLADOS - Hvem Vil Det Gavne? EP (2002)

Copped this 7" on the cheap after hearing them on the København I Ruiner sampler. Members of this band also played in other groups on that comp.

THE FUCKERS - Block Party EP (1992)

The dudes from Seaweed channelling their inner Dwarves on this side project 7" single.

UX VILEHEADS - First EP (2009)

Catchy HC from Umea, Sweden that featured members of REGULATIONS, DS-13, EPILEPTIC TERROR ATTACK, AC4, THE VICIOUS and more. They followed this EP with another 7" and an LP that's also worth owning if you don't already.

VA - Matado Por La Muerte LP (2017)

Like a lot of countries, punk rock didn't hit the shores of Ecuador until the mid 1980's with the formation of DESCONTROLADOS. In fact, they're the only band on this comp from that decade as the rest of the tracks were recorded in the 90's (and even a the early 00's I think). But still this comp's full of rare gems so if you're like me and dig that South American punk shit then uh...dig in.

STATE - Excommunicated EP (2010)

You've heard their other two releases I've posted on here so you know what to expect. I think this 7" is the last thing they've put out.

CONTESSA - S/T tape (1998)

Don't know much about this band except that they hailed from Victoria BC. Two tracks from this tape appeared on the 2000 compilation, "The Street Enters The House". They also released a 7"EP called "Tim & Randy".

SHELL SHOCK - Execution Time LP (2008)

Some more 80's USHC from New Orleans. Like a lot bands from that era, they later incorporated metal into their sound. After the band disbanded in 1988, members went on to play in Crowbar, Eyehategod, Down, etc...

URCHIN - How To Make Napalm EP (2016)

"Troglodyte hardcore reminiscent of 80's acts of Stoke-on Trent and Scandinavia." Featuring members of Savageheads, Extended Hell, Bloodkrow Butcher, Razorheads, etc... so you it "slaps" as the kids say these days.

ADIEXODO - .38 LP (1986)

Another Greek punk classic. Like STRESS, they also appeared on the Disturbing The Peace compilation I posted back in April. Ripped from the 2013 reissue.

STRESS - Ήχος Της Ανασφάλειας LP (1985)

I'm no expert on Greek punk, but it's safe to assume this album is considered one of the best punk records to come out of Greece during the 1980's. Or any decade for that matter. Ripped from the 2013 remastered reissue. Highly recommended!

KAFKA PROSESS - Ingen Fattige, Ingen Rike LP (2000)

Bought this on a whim few weeks back from a shop that sells mainly hip hop and house records. These guys were from Norway and featured members of SVART FRAMTID and SO MUCH HATE. Pretty sure this LP compiles everything they recorded during their short existence in the mid-80's.

TEENAGE DEPRESSION - Skank Or Die EP (1984)

Obscure lo-fi HC from New Joisey. Ripped from the 2018 remastered reissue. Fun stuff.

SECRET V'S - No Life Like It EP (1981)

Long out-of-print follow up to their self-titled debut 12" I posted 3 years ago. Features their their most popular tune, "Waiting For The Drugs To Take Hold". Someone oughta reissue both of their records onto one handy LP. That would be cool.
