REASON OF INSANITY / RACE AGAINST TIME - Split EP (2005)
Solid split here by these two Gulf Coast HC bands. If you need more convincing, peep Reason Of Insanity's self-titled LP from the same year. Race Against Time ain't chopped liver either.

SHELL SHOCK - Execution Time LP (2008)
Some more 80's USHC from New Orleans. Like a lot bands from that era, they later incorporated metal into their sound. After the band disbanded in 1988, members went on to play in Crowbar, Eyehategod, Down, etc...

SLUTS - 12" Of Sluts LP (1982)
Lewd 'n' crude KBD hardcore from the Big Easy. Ripped from the 2014 reissue. In 1981, their lead singer auditioned for Black Flag, but lost out to some dude from Washington DC named Henry.

REASON OF INSANITY - S/T LP (2005)
A little late to the party when it comes to these guys but hey, better late than never. I was familiar with their name through guitarist Josh Wolf's other projects Secret Prostitutes and Bloody Hammer. Listening to this record takes kinda me back to going to all ages shows in the 90's and early 00's. I definitely would've bought their tape or record at the merch table after their set.
Side one was recorded in 2001 and was originally intended to be on a split LP with Direct Control. Side two recorded in '03. With 26 songs clocking in at 37 minutes, this LP does feel like a double album by hardcore standards.
