LOST GENERATION - Punk This! CD (1995)

Lost Generation were a long running Connecticut punk band who like many of their peers went metal in the later half of the 80's. Luckily this collection only covers their "punk years". Doesn't the cover art and title looks like one of those cheap CD punk comps that were popular in the 90's?

VA - War Between The States: North tape (1985)

Released the same time as the War Between The States-SOUTH tape I just posted. Like many comps, this one's hit and miss. Ripped from the recent CD-R reissue.

STARK RAVING - Sniveling And Whining MLP (1987)

Saw this record at a local shop last weekend thinking it was STARK RAVING MAD at first glance. I gave'r a quick listen and dug it enough to buy it since the price was right. Don't really know anything about this band except that I think they were from Connecticut and this 12" was their only release.

VA - Hardcore From The Early Days CD (2004)

Who's up for a little menage a trois... of 80's Connecticut Hardcore?! Out of the 3 bands the only one I was familiar with prior was White Pigs. Target Cells kinda remind of that SST band Stains which is not a bad thing. And Chronic Disorder aren't too shabby either.

VATICAN COMMANDOS - Just A Frisbee EP (1983)

Sophomore seven-incher by Moby's first group. He was out of the band by the time this EP came out, which is kinda funny because I think it's better than the record he played on. Fun fact, the cover art was drawn by none other than Rob Zombie. Ripped from the 2021 reissue.

VA - USA 1981 LP (2019)

Just like that 'Electrocute Your Cock' comp I posted back in August, this record is chocked full of obscure and out of print KBD goodness.

REFLEX FROM PAIN - Checkered Future EP (1990)

YOUTH KORPS - '82 EP (1991)

Under the radar HC from Connecticut. This is the vinyl reissue of their 1982 demo tape. All the songs are short and fast with the exception of the last one 'Malaise', which clocks in at the four minute mark. You know Black Flag's "Damaged" was on heavy rotation when they wrote that jam.

GUILTY FACES - Nightmares EP (2008)

Catchy little 3 song ripper from this long defunct Connecticut band. These guys had the early 80's west coast punk sound down pretty good. The title track reminds me of Decry a bit. They also released an album on Deranged Records the year after.
1. Nightmares
2. Hospital Eyes
3. Scum
