This comp was put together to help pay Roger Miret's medical bills after he screwed up his back at a Madball show back in the mid 90's. You'd think this would be chock full of NYHC, but there's really a wide range of bands from just about everywhere but New York (with the exception of Heart Attack).
Second 7" by this TOHC band. You know these guys because I've posted them on here before, remember? Four songs in just under 3 and half minutes. DIG IT!
Catchy little 3 song ripper from this long defunct Connecticut band. These guys had the early 80's west coast punk sound down pretty good. The title track reminds me of Decry a bit. They also released an album on Deranged Records the year after.
Okay, let's take a break from Finnish punk (for now) and get back to some Canadian content. This comp is a who's who of the early Vancouver punk rock scene featuring members of D.O.A., Subhumans, Pointed Sticks, Dishrags, Modernettes, Young Canadians and more playing under pseudonyms. After searching for years in local record shops for it, I finally bit the bullet and bought a near mint copy online that wasn't TOO expensive. They released another record the year after with some of the same acts and a few new ones, which I posted five years ago HERE.
