VAURIO - Sortoa Ja Vainoa EP (2007)

Like Lama, here's another Finnish band who's album I posted last year and have been meaning to follow up on. This was their first recording from 1983 originally intended to be released on Propaganda Records in '84. For some reason it never happened, although two of the songs appeared on the "Finnish Spunk/Hard Beat" comp that year and the whole session ended up as bonus tracks on the 1996 CD reissue of "Propaganda - Hardcore 83". It wasn't until 10 years ago that Feral Ward reissued the 7" the way it was originally intended.

TARANTÜLA - I Got High With Bela Lugosi tape (2016)

CÜLO is back! Kind of... Well, 3/4 of them are anyways. They've got a bit of a different sound going here (and a bass guitar) but they still remind me of their previous band at times. Which is fine by me. This is their second demo, from the same recording session as their first tape. They've got a 7" EP coming out soon too, suckas.

LAMA - Ja Mikään Ei Muuttunut LP (1983)

I meant to post this right after putting up their amazing self-titled album early last year but got sidetracked with other stuff. This album compiles the Finnish band's 7" EPs and is definitely a must have. Ripped from the Brazilian CD reissue.

VA - Blazing Anarchy Mixtape (2017)

This sampler is a pretty good place to start if you're not familiar with the current HC scene over in Europe. Most of the songs on this cassette comp are previously released, although it does include an unreleased jam by the now defunct DiE, which to me is worth the price of admission alone. Came with a sweet poster too!

Not to be confused with the streetpunk band from Melbourne Australia, this was a one man project from Houston Texas by the dude from Secret Prostitutes, Reason Of Insanity and a million other bands. Check out the artists he listed as inspiration on the back cover and you get the idea.

ELECTROCUTIONER - Slipping Into Darkness tape (2017)

Recorded on the same day (in Compton) as their last tape Wretch In Order. This is their best sounding release yet production-wise, perhaps because it's on a pro cassette this time around. Four songs in five minutes, what more do you need?

GRIMA - Demo tape (2014)

I discovered this band through the Babylon mixtape. Raw recording with female vox sung in Spanish. I don't think they're around anymore but the singer is another band called Fumigados that are also pretty good.
