HOUSE OF COMMONS - Patriot LP (1983)

A decade ago today I debuted this blog with a 1984 live set by H.O.C., so it only made sense that I'd post the band's sole vinyl release for my 10 year anniversary. Given to me by their guitarist Neil Embo around 20 years ago. Definitely one of the best punk rock releases to come out of B.C. in the 1980's. Here's to ten more years, CHEERS!

  1. HUGE thanks for your 10 years of being one of the best punk blogs to ever be on the webs...
So many rare and obscure 70's and 80's things that you have taken the time to purchase and share with us is amazing. In particular the Euro and South American stuff, but so much more (can't forget the rare hoser stuff you've posted also. Canada always has/had a killer line-up of punk goodness )...
Thanks again Jimmy, nothing but respect, and I'd like to touch base with you about possibly hooking you up with some music that you may not have.
I have a rather large arsenal of lossless and HQ mp3.
    Take Care.

    1. I wish! The only song from that 3 song demo that ever saw the light of day is "Fucked Up Baby" on the Last Call comp. It was the also bootlegged on the 'Vancouver Evolution' 7-inch which I posted on here 4 years ago if you haven't got it already. Sorry man! Hopefully Joey Shithead puts it out one day.

Speaking of Shithead, I'm seeing DOA in November with Bishops Green for the 40th Anniversary of their Hardcore 81 album.
