BAD MAN - Neighborhood Watch LP (2008)

Fast snotty skate punk from San Pedro, California that remind me of Destroy L.A. at times. Maybe they shared members?

  1. Another killer post!! There was something special about the mid-2000s hardcore bands with kids that basically revived the frantic hardcore of the early 80s. I loved this band, Dogends, Socialcide, Rabies, Government Warning, Amdi Petersens Armé, Direct Control etc.

Thanks again for keeping the music alive w/ your blog!

  2. I totally agree, those bands (along with DS-13, ETA, Total Fury, Gordon Solie Motherfuckers, Holier Than Thou, and many more) were such a welcome break from the tough guy type shit that was dominating hardcore up until that point. I didn't mind some of that stuff in small doses, but I was way more in that fast old school style. Cheers!

  3. I agree with your assessment (and band selection) of early 2000's HC. Spot on.

Here's a total nostalgia trip here if you like. I used to order a lot of records from VA's No Way Records back then. I decided to take a little time trip using the good ol' Internet Wayback Machine. Oh, good memories!

    1. Yeah, buddy! No Way was one my favourite labels from the 2000's. They put out so many good records.
