I first heard this Boston band on the "Hold Your Ground" comp 30 years ago with their standout track "Break The Chains". They recorded 7 songs in late '83 with tracks 2,3 & 6 first released as a 7" in 1989, and reissued in 1992 on the sketchy German label Lost & Found Records. While it's great the full session was finally put out last decade, it would've been even greater if this had record actually had a cover along with an insert with a bio/history, pictures, flyers, lyrics...something! Instead it was just housed in a plain black outer sleeve like a dance single from the 90's. These songs deserved better than that, but I guess it's better than nothing.

Hello. Just wondering if there's any live Dishrags floating around in the world. Thanks otherwise
ReplyDeleteThe only live Dishrags material is on the "Three" LP Supreme Echo Records put out in 2014. https://supremeecho.bandcamp.com/album/the-dishrags
