Even if you're not into live albums, if you're a Bannlyst fan you'll dig this one as they play the hits and the sound quality is great. At this point most of the members have been playing for years as SO MUCH HATE so they were pretty tight on this night. Recorded in 1992 at the 10th anniversary of the Blitz squat in Oslo.
Actually a cool LP for Bannlyst aficionados. Has been getting regular spins on the turntable. Super tight performance. Especially if one keeps in mind that this took place like seven years after the band's demise. Thanks for the great rip, Jimmy!
I agree, great live performance. I just got the recently released 'Mørk Tid' 7" that has the full version of "40000 Døde Barn" from this gig. Worth checking out.
Yeah, I'm gonna get myself a copy of that 7". Norwegian Leather + Cease Fire sound like a nice label coop. For instance the Molde Punx Go Marching Out double LP (which Cease Fire put out) is quite good in my opinion.
