This is Albuquerque not Boston. Okay so it's no 'Is This My World?' but let's face it, few HC albums are. Still ai-ight tho. Ripped from the 1997 bootleg CD reissue.
Nice one. I lived near Albuquerque in NM from 1995-2001. Albuquerque had a pretty small scene (but really cool people) and not a lot of bands they could lay claim to... Other then Jerry's Kidz; Grimple were the big local favorites, but they relocated to Berkeley CA in the early '90s. They would still come back for the occasional show... The other "big" local band was Scared Of Chaka. They were also around in the early 90's and also relocated out west. They were more garage-punk but very good, and super cool cats... The Drags were also around, garage-punk. The legend of Jerry's Kidz was strong in NM, even years after they left. They were the only real 80's HC/punk band to have a proper release. I think it's quite excellent, and considering their location and limitations, quite fascinating... As seemed to be the trend with these bands, the vocalist (David D) relocated to the Bay Area and formed Clown Alley. Their demo is excellent. The LP is a little more hit/miss but DD had excellent vocals... Thanks Jimmy, it's getting too warm in Florida for my taste. About time to start wearing out the A/C again... Be safe
Nope, British Columbia born and raised. Sounds like a cool sign to put up in a garage or record room. Or post it in FB marketplace, I'm sure someone would take it.
