GET LOOSE CREW - S/T MLP (1988)

Since Canada just turned the big 150, I thought I'd change things up and post this nation's first rap record. Although technically I think the first Canadian hip hop release was the 1987 compilation "Break'n Out" that was produced by KRS-One and Scott La Rock of BDP. Still, I gotta wonder what took so long for something to come out here especially considering how geographically close Toronto was to NYC.

    Yo big up to GET LOOSE! FIRST Hip Hop record sold outta Canada on da world stage!!. History here. Word is that they are getting props as architects in Canada Music. DOPE!! Word em up!! Bddddap!! Bdddddap! RIP to the DJ Mix Master LEN who passed away recently.
