DOGGY STYLE - Work As One EP (1985)
Doggy Style's debut 7". Three of these songs were re-recorded for their 'Side By Side' LP. Vocals kinda sound like a cross between 7 SECONDS and ADRENALIN O.D. to my ears. Fun stuff.

REJECTORS / THE ACCUSED - Split LP (1983)
This tasty slab of early Seattle hardcore has been on my want list for a long time, so I was pretty psyched to find it for under $100 CAD on a recent trip to Toronto. It didn't come with an insert, the cover's a little worn and the vinyl has some slight scuffs (especially on The Accused side) but I snagged it anyways because who know when I'll find another.
For those who don't know, The Accused on this split was the pre-Splatterock version of the band with original singer John Dahlin. Here you'll find them playing straight-up USHC before becoming the crossover powerhouse we all know and love with Blaine Cook on vocals. I still dig this recording though. And of the course the Rejectors' side is great too. Totally underrated.

THE YOUNG AND THE USELESS - Real Men Don't Floss EP (1982)
Now this is my kind of NYHC. Ad Rock's pre-Beasties band in case you didn't know already. Ripped from a recent boot. If this 7" was going to get an official reissue, I imagine it would've happened a long time ago. Since originals start at $300US, this will do me just fine.

CHEMOTHERAPY - S/T EP (1983)
High school hardcore from the Hoosier State. You can tell these kids are literally learning their instruments. Reminds me a little of that WARBOY EP I posted three years ago. Ripped from the 2017 reissue remastered by Paul Mahern of the Zero Boys.

THE DETONATORS - Balls To You CD (1989)
It's been almost 13 years since I last posted anything by this band. Which is a shame because these guys deserve to be heard. One of these days I may have to splurge for their out of print '83 debut LP "EMERGENCY BROADCAST SYSTEMS". Or wait for someone to reissue it.
