POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT - S/T LP (2006)

Hardcore from Boston that doesn't sound like your typical Boston Hardcore. Members also played in BLANK STARE, SOCIAL CIRCKLE, EXIT ORDER, BLOODY GEARS, CHAIN RANK, etc etc. I guess this recording was too long for a 7" so it was released as a single-sided 12". Or maybe it was supposed to be a split LP and the other band bailed on them?

LOST CAUSE - Forgotten Corners LP (1982)

Somewhat obscure So-Cal punk, though you may be familiar with their cut 'Born Dead' from the '82 comp "American Youth Report". That track was also on their 1981 self-titled 7" which had a different singer and is better than their sophomore effort here. Not saying this a terrible record or anything, just not as good as their debut in my humble opinion.

STENGTE DØRER - Hver Dag Er En Perfekt Dag LP (1989)

If you dug their debut album I posted last week you'll dig this one too, I swear. Maybe even more? Also ripped from the 2021 CD pressing.

STENGTE DØRER - Sangen Om Vår Vidunderlige Verden LP (1988)

It's no surprise members of this band also played in BANNLYST, SO MUCH HATE, KAFKA PROCESS and BETONG HISTERIA (to name a few) as they have that same progressive hardcore sound. Must be something in the water (or beer?) in Norway. Ripped from the 2021 CD re-release.

LOOSE NUKES - It's...Loose Nukes EP (2019)

One of the best demos from the latter half of the last decade. With a resume of past and present bands like BLOOD PRESSURE, DIRECT CONTROL, WHITE STAINS, DARK THOUGHTS, MACHINE GUNSICKOIDS (and MANY more), would you expect anything less?

DOGGY STYLE - Work As One EP (1985)

Doggy Style's debut 7". Three of these songs were re-recorded for their 'Side By Side' LP. Vocals kinda sound like a cross between 7 SECONDS and ADRENALIN O.D. to my ears. Fun stuff.
