Another killer post!! There was something special about the mid-2000s hardcore bands with kids that basically revived the frantic hardcore of the early 80s. I loved this band, Dogends, Socialcide, Rabies, Government Warning, Amdi Petersens Armé, Direct Control etc.

I totally agree, those bands (along with DS-13, ETA, Total Fury, Gordon Solie Motherfuckers, Holier Than Thou, and many more) were such a welcome break from the tough guy type shit that was dominating hardcore up until that point. I didn't mind some of that stuff in small doses, but I was way more in that fast old school style. Cheers!

Here's a total nostalgia trip here if you like. I used to order a lot of records from VA's No Way Records back then. I decided to take a little time trip using the good ol' Internet Wayback Machine. Oh, good memories!
